I've been looking through Youtube mod reviews for new mods all week.

Added mods to survival:

Removed mods: 
Pandora's Box

Why did I remove Pandora's Box? I removed Pandora's Box because I got the Lucky Block mod. I have not tried the Lucky Block mod yet but I know Pandora's Box can get very laggy. Lucky Block seems to have more reasonable randomness where as Pandora's Box changes biomes. My computer is slow already. Note that I will not remove mods without a reason.

My Today

The first thing I did was make a CraftGuide. I decided this was the first thing I should do because all of the new mod recipes.

I then went in search of a village to make a friend. The first place I went was the village near my house... the villagers were all dead. I thought, well, the other villagers at the other village must've died. I explored across the desert until I found one. And then I found it.

And then I found him.

I took him home.

I had to make my ladders I wanted him to climb up into stairs. And I had to add double doors because all the zombies were swooning over him.

These were NOT spawned in!

I expanded my house. I want to make it into a mysterious mansion with secret rooms.

But I kind of like how it looks on the inside.
I made more armor.

I made another backpack and dyed my other one. My yellow one is weapons / tools. My magenta one is for food. I went to the village to collect all of the food in the gardens - and there was lots of it! I then, decided to explore the other direction, and came across a desert... villagers... Another village! I looted the place. It had a very wimpy chest in the blacksmith's place. Two apples. Two breads. But, I got a lot of veggies in the gardens. I grabbed about a stack of quicksand to do some... experiments with.

What? No! I didn't do that! Not this kind of experiment. This is just a natural thing for villagers, I guess.

Way to go, guys. Party in quicksand. Totally smart... If you wanted a swim, you realize there's a pool of water behind you, right?

Anyways, what I mean by experiment is: I'm planning to make some traps around my house and/or make a door to some place that can trap monsters and let me kill them while they're trapped. I tested it in my house and learned more things about quicksand.

Two blocks tall = suffocates, slows, and blinds
One block = slows
One below and one above = slows and no jumping

After this, I needed to mine for more coal and iron. I was too chicken to go out to a dark mine with nine torches and no coal, so I went back in the mine I already had in my house. I almost forgot about it!

I found about twelve iron, and seventeen coal. I was able to cook some of the veggies I found in the towns (what I'm going to call villages because they've been very frequent and big).

I almost cheated but the game wouldn't let me. I'm sorry I was about to. It was part of me being chicken for looking for a cave. I tried to set keep inventory to true... I turned off commands! I planned for that.

Modded Survival

Vanilla survival got boring so I switched into a Modded Survival world.
I don't have many good ones because my computer is laggy as is. These are the mods I got (for 1.7.2):
Biomes O Plenty
Damage Indicators
Mo Villages
Tree Capitator
Pandora's Box
Backpacks

My first goal was to collect food and then make a backpack. This is where I first lived:

After that, I ventured to find my own home. But that didn't happen. I found another village and it was turning night. I stepped in quicksand and nearly killed myself. I found a way out though. Yay, I'm alive! And then I remembered that I dumbly left my bed at my last house.

 And then I found another village. Something must have went wrong when it was generated.

I kept going and finally found a meadow and decided to build there. I killed some sheep and made a bed. I didn't realize it was near another village! At first, I lived in this little room:

 And then I remodeled and made another room:

 Now it has four levels. The entrance you see is the first room I made. The top level is where I hope my saplings will grow.

Sorry, I haven't been on Minecraft!

I've used some invisibility potion... Yeah. That's totally why I haven't been seen on Minecraft in a month.

Shout out to XPUnknown for not playing with me.
(Just kidding.)

So, I have been very bored on Minecraft lately because I only have myself to play with... and schoolwork is a problem... it also may be because I've been using the computer less.

Today, I finally talked myself into trying single player survival again.

Well, I didn't hide in a hole the whole time.
And I went hunting at night!
*gives herself a pat on the back*

It's actually pretty successful... So far.

I'm basically trapped on a island (where I spawned). At least there are trees. It's a decent size island with my house in the center on a hill. I haven't used cheats at all. Not even setting my spawn point (because I spawn there). I almost died of a creeper (when hunting) and then of starvation. I now have a cooked chicken in a chest with a cooked rabbit. Yum.

To do list:
Get more than 2 pieces of food
Get coal
Make torches
Make stone items (already have some stone)
Make bed
Upgrade my terrible looking wood shack
Cut down trees
Replant trees
Explore the ocean blue
Make a book and quil
Write my to do list in there

When I saw the creeper, I nearly screamed.

Why haven't I seen any zombies yet? It's silent - too silent.

Also, today I played Build It. Why don't people who Skype or in the same room together cheat? It isn't fun - especially when everyone leaves because of you.
I lost, I won... I was terrible at building today so sorry for all of the confusing builds!

Who am I?

Hello, fellow Minians
I've decided to dedicate this article to let you learn about me. My hobbies mostly because... You know. Don't share persoal information online, folks.

1. I like to draw and design. I mostly draw realistic people.
2. I love reading (mostly fiction but look at #3).
3. I'm a huge technophile. I'm into programming (so far only HTML and some Java but it's been forever since oing Java) and ethical hacking. The only nonfiction books I read are about computers.
4. I love photography.
5. I'm a huge writer. My friends get mad at me because I'm so diligent about editing and revising. 
6. I'm not in any sports right now but I'm thinking of joining Archery and Ultimate Frisbee. I like those things where you haveto develope a strategy and you don't have to run too much.
7. I'm much like my dad. I've been told I have an engineering mind like him where I create new ways to solve a problem and ask lots of questions.
8. Ever since I knew what a job was, I wanted to be an artist and a princess - as all girls. 
9. I hated pink after a time when mining_goddess and I were eating dinner and my mom asked who wanted the pink plate. We fighted and finally, I give up and say something like, "Fine, it's only a plate... But since mining always gets the pink stuff, I might as well give up in ever having anything pink." I fell in love with blue and then noticed how generic it was. I went for green. And then I liked blue, green, and inbetween. And then I liked purple. Now it's ranked green, purple, and then blue.
10. I like to sing. I write lyrics too. I learn piano off youtube.
11. I have a bad memory most of the time unless it's something most people would never try to remember.
12. My least favorite subjects in school are algebra and gym. 
13. My favorite subject in school is writing and art. I'm excited for my programming class - I know nothing about it though. Most people say it's boring and confusing but I - the technophile- have talk to other geeky people. They enjoyed it.

I'm back

Okay, I need to get in the gist of things again.

Hello Minecraft Maniacs,
While I was gone, these are things I've done:

1. There is a new world on the realm - it's now a creative world where we are building castles and villages. I was in awe when I came on and XP claimed he and his friends made this (I'm not sure if I believe him yet).

 

If you think that's crazy, you should look at the inside.

My castle has a psychopath guard who has a speed boost so he just runs back and forth in the guard tower, not shooting anybody. I'm thinking of firing him... *grabs flint and steel and laughs evilly*

2. I landed a job as a terraformer on some kid that goes to my school's server. So far, we haven't made anything yet but I've been practicing. I still need to watch more videos on using Voxel Sniper. I'll tell you guys when the server is up. It's going to be a Kit PvP server.

3. XP didn't like my friend, LycaNation so he banned him and created this... He's never been added back since then.

4. I've mostly finished a map I've been working on for a year. Here's a picture of my favorite spot.

5. I made a new skin (but I don't think you care).

I'm going to try my best to not make anymore lists! I can do it!

Last Week Was Full of Events... In Which I Didn't Write About.

Hola!
Sorry I didn't write last week.

So this is what happened: 

• I changed my skin again.
• I made my first ever really complex redstone thingy-mcbobber which controls the water to my bathroom and kitchen in XP and I's Sky Village world. At first he tped to me and was about to tear it down because he didn't know what it was, or it was some way to cheat, he thought. I stopped him though by saying I worked on it for about... a long time.

• My sister joined the Realm for the first time and now likes to play on it.
• XP and I started a war world. We are enemies trying to claim and destroy land but so far, he took away my op and blocked up his house in barriers - not allowing attacks yet. I don't know why because it's a war and he's cheating.

• Then with my op powers still gone, he trapped me in a prison cell on adventure and left the game so I left. 5 hours later, I'm back on and still trapped.

• XPUnknown's Realm expired so he had to find some money to get a new one.
• mining_goddess and I played on 'It's Harry and Jerry' for the first time and played the picture game that TakeOverYourCastle thought I was very good at. I got first place my second time.

 

•  I was told by a guy named 'Unfriend' that I look like his irl friend. Ironic, right? He wanted a screenshot with me.

That's basically a summary of everything new.

Hello all,
The arena is mostly gone. XPUnknown forgot to back it up and now we are all the way back to when he just made the Nether and I was starting the Ocean. So. That's great, isn't it? I'm a little bit ticked. Luckily, I took that video so I have an idea of what I'm building back. With 8 days left on the poll, I'm going to have to remove it. This is not something I can fix in 8 days, especially with school.
Today, I was on BendiStraws, I went on Puck's server and I'm now a Mod (this is Mini Mojang's server) [ip: 108.170.8.146:35305], and I created a sky village with XPUnknown that we're going survival on. Exciting day - that's all I can say about it.
I feel like it should be Saturday and tomorrow should be Sunday. Do you ever feel like that? I don't feel prepared for the week.

Hey guys! Over the weekend I recorded a video I will post - hopefully - today. I ran into a lot of problems while recording and editing but it's okay. XPUnknown is in the video and it's in our arena map. Before hand, I tried recording in our survival world but it didn't record properly and then he spawned in the end dragons and tried to put me onto of it and I kept falling. And then he put a giant on the enderdragon...

I'm sorry, I'm rambling. Conclusion: I was lagging out.

Anyways, I'm at school right now but the video is almost done. I just need to cut it into two parts because it's too long for the blog even though I cut it into the most important/funny parts. I should be allowed to post a 6:30 vid on here but no. It's too large for blogspot.

Champion

Me with heads of XPUnknown, mining_goddess, and anyrtak.

I am the champion! Just kidding. Me and XP are goofing around with new commands he found. These are the heads that he spawned in. How he does it? No clue. But it works with vanilla with anybody's head you want!
I am also the champion because he finally figured out how to make me OP so I could spawn stuff in (not like I know how to spawn in weird stuff like the heads) and change my game mode.
Well, yesterday we did a lot of stuff. I created a hallway to each arena and worked on making the Ocean level. XP is figuring out how to spawn in clones to attack you while you're battling.
I made some teleportation devices and that's when XP typed in chat, "you're using command blocks?" after I teleported him.
I replied, "Is that bad? :3" I decided to Skype him and asked him why he typed that and he replied, "No offense, but you kinda suck at redstone."
And then I apparently set up getting bow and arrow badly. So he said he was going to fix that but I thought that what I did was advanced so I'm proud of myself.
Enough about me and redstone.
We have a blue and red team and XP's telling me about banners coming out in 1.8 (yay! Coming out on Tuesday) and so we're just going to wait and then work out teaming a little bit more.

Arena Map and Other Annoucements

Guess who now has a blog!

On Minecraft lately, I've been building a arena (that is awesome!) with my cousin, XPUnknown. We are going to post it on Minecraft Forums and other sites once we get done with it. Sadly, mining_goddess (my sister) is not participating in this but maybe next time.
XP and I are working on this arena map that has has the theme of biomes. On each level, there will be a different biome.
These are the ones we have mostly completed (always revising):

• Forest 
• This is this is the spawning place. I created it first, before I asked XP to work on it with me. This originally was going to be a parkour map and you spawned in the top of a tree. XP doesn't like parkour so he didn't want to look at it. I finally convinced him and the first thing he said was, "This is awesome!"
• Nether
• XP created this on his own without me there, I gave him a design and he decided to do his own thing. It's pretty cool though what he did but I might make a second Nether level if he doesn't mind.
• The End
• XP created this on his own with no design of mine. This is very very awesome. 
• Ocean

• This is ALL me. I created it because I was so excited. I told him, "If we are doing this design, I want to make it all by myself." And so I did. This will feature a wall river in which XP will have to use his "special editing skills" to do. 

XP is good at redstone, I'm good at design. We make a good team.

If we figure it out, I want to own a server with him.
